Independent Remuneration Panel 2022
The County Council must have regard to the recommendations of the Independent Remuneration Panel when it makes amendments to the scheme of allowances paid to councillors. The Independent Remuneration Panel did a review and submitted its report for 2022.

The amounts which councillors are entitled to are published each year and form part 6 of our Constitution. It includes
- the basic allowance for every member
- expenses for special responsibilities,
- travel,
- phones
