Highlights (changes introduced from 1 September 2024 unless stated)

  • Hailsham, Hellingly, Polegate
  • Service 28 (Brighton-Lewes-Laughton-Hailsham-Polegate-Eastbourne). • Service 98 (Hastings-St Leonards-Pebsham-Bexhill-Sidley-Ninfield-Herstmonceux-Hailsham-Polegate-Eastbourne). Service 98’s route between Bexhill, Hailsham and Eastbourne is replaced by new service 53 (see above).

  • Magham Down, Herstmonceux, Windmill Hill, Ninfield
  • New service 53 will replace service 98 between Bexhill, Ninfield, Herstmonceux, Hailsham and Eastbourne. The frequency will be the same as the service 98 it replaces, though to a revised timetable. The first weekday journey to Eastbourne will instead start from Herstmonceux at 07:09 and arrive in Eastbourne at 07:56. The first 53 weekday from Bexhill, Sidley, Ninfield and Windmill Hill will arrive in Eastbourne at 09:28. This is the arrival time of the first Saturday journey from Herstmonceux too. In Bexhill the 53 will serve Bexhill Hospital instead of Bexhill Town Hall Square and London Road.
  • Service 95 (Bexhill-Bexhill Hospital-Ninfield-Battle-Conquest Hospital) –continues to provide a frequency of approximately every 2 hours Monday to Saturday daytime, to a revised timetable.

  • Route 1066 (Hastings Station-Bohemia Road-Silverhill-Battle-Robertsbridge-Hawkhurst-Wadhurst-Tunbridge Wells). Timing changes. The frequency remains hourly Monday to Saturday daytime plus some evening journeys, plus every 2 hours on Sundays.
