Hours of work: 30.9 hours per week (28.75 Teaching Assistant + 2.15 After School Club Coordinator)
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 4 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)
Fixed term for: 6 months

TA with After School Club Coordinator Role to start September 2024.

Framfield CEP School (part of the St Thomas á Becket Church of England Federation) a happy and successful Church of England Primary School in Framfield (near Uckfield), East Sussex is looking for a new member of staff to add to our support staff team within our small busy rural school.

We are looking for the successful applicant to start as soon in the new academic year, Monday 02nd September.  Due to staffing restructuring, in the first instance, both contracts are to be offered on a fixed term contract of 6 months, expiring 14/02/25.

Teaching Assistant -  28.75 hours a week SS 3, point 7 £22737.00 PA, pro rata
You will be working alongside a class teacher preparing and undertaking educational support duties; assisting the class teacher(s) in the day to day needs of the pupils in your care; enabling the teacher to implement the curriculum and respond to the pupils' needs, whilst maintaining complete confidentiality on all school matters. Hours to be 8.30am-Midday and 1.00-3.15pm daily, 5.75hrs a day.
Total hours worked per week = 28.75 hours a week

After School Club Coordinator - 2 1/4 hours a week, SS 6, point 14 £24703.00 PA, pro rata
To provide safe, high quality play opportunities and care for children; be responsible for the day to day organisation and operation of the club and to offer biscuit(s) and squash. One day a week (day to be confirmed) 3.15-5.30pm. Additional hours for this role may be available.
Total hours worked per week = 2 1/4 hours a week
