Do you want to be part of a new team? Are you interested in people? Do you want to make a difference to change someone's world and yours? Can you support someone who needs help to live their best life?

Our community support service supports adults with a learning disability living in their own homes or in our supported living schemes. While the service covers the whole of the county the main areas you will be working are Battle, Bexhill and Hastings. Miles incurred for business travel can be reclaimed at 45 pence per mile.

Your role will involve working alongside clients to help them achieve new daily living skills to enable them to realise their potential, live life to the full and build independence skills. The role is varied, no two days will be the same.

We provide a countywide service so access to a vehicle for work is essential.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have a positive attitude towards the rights of people with learning disabilities
  • Have communication and organisational skills
  • Are self-motivated
  • Are committed to providing excellent support
  • Willing to undertake training required to complete the job role
  • Have an ethos of working together

Worried that you don`t have the right skills? Our aim is to build a team where your uniqueness will enhance the service people receive. Whether you have previous experience in the field or you are new to working with people with learning disability, your life skills, great attitude and desire to support people to lead fulfilling lives is why we want to hear from you.

We are passionate about our staff, which is why we'll do everything we can to help you to develop both personally and professionally throughout your time with us.

In addition to a highly competitive salary, we provide a thorough induction and on-going support, along with excellent training opportunities to help you reach your career goals.

Never before has our work been so important to the people that rely on us being there. Come and join us and make a difference!

Change your world and theirs.
