Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations. 

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted. 

All Saints are seeking to appoint a highly motivated TA to work initially in our Year 1 class from September 2024.

The successful candidate would ideally have:
•         A recognised child care qualification at Level 3 or above
•         Experience of working with pupils in KS1
•         Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Curriculum

All Saints CE Primary School is a one-form entry primary school situated in Sidley, Bexhill. We have up to 300 children who are organized into single age classes including our thriving Nursery and Specialist SEND facility.

You will be part of the wider school team at All Saints C.E. Primary School and will benefit from a range of training and development opportunities. 

You will be working closely with the EYFS lead, class teachers and SENDCO to ensure a safe, stimulating and caring environment for the pupil you are supporting.

The working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30am to 3.15pm, and 8.30am – 4.00pm on Wednesdays with 30 minutes unpaid daily lunch break, Term Time Only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
