Prevention Administrator and Safeguarding Coordinator

Fixed Term Contract - up to end March 2025

An opportunity has arisen for a confident individual to provide high level administrative and coordinator support to enable the Prevention Department to deliver its statutory safeguarding responsibilities.

You will be responsible for coordinating and managing safeguarding referrals (child and adult), including onward referral to other agencies and to coordinate responses from multi agency conferences and self-neglect meetings.

You will be required to supervise specified administration staff work activities, undertake a variety of administrative duties, maintain electronic systems & diaries and work to tight deadlines. You will also liaise with Station Personnel/other Departments on a regular basis.

You will possess excellent attention to detail and communication skills with the ability to engage with members of staff and the public. Previous experience of child /adult safeguarding protocols would be advantageous.

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
