Do you want to put your skills to use in a role that supports vulnerable families?

We are looking for a full time administrator to join our busy Children's Services social work team based in Hastings Town Centre. 

It's a busy and rewarding role, working in a friendly and supportive team.

On completion of training you would work some days in the office and some days from home on a rota basis.

As a member of the team you will provide admin support to a team of social workers and managers and be responsible for a variety of tasks to assist in the smooth running of the service. This will include processing referrals and initial contacts and uploading information using our client database system, taking complex meeting minutes, data entry, telephone contact with professionals and clients, other general administrative tasks.

It's a fast paced and varied role and we'll make sure that you get all the training and support you need to succeed.

We are looking for candidates who

  • Have excellent communication skills to liaise with a variety of professionals and other agencies at the forefront of our service
  • Have strong MS Office skills
  • Have have a real passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
