SEND Intervention Coordinator

We are seeking to appoint a SEND Intervention Coordinator to support the Head of Department for Inclusion (SENCO) and co-ordinate the learning interventions offered by the Inclusion team.  The successful candidate will have good knowledge and experience of working within successful SEN teams.  They should have a thorough, in-depth awareness of the SEN needs that are usually represented in our school along with the mostly used successful strategies.  The role will involve working alongside the Head of Department for Inclusion (SENCO), providing a combination of 1:1/small group interventions, the co-ordination of SEN students, including the staff who support them, as well as providing in-class support.
