Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint an excellent, motivated and talented person to start a Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Level 3 and join our dedicated, friendly and supportive school,  starting from September 2024.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Contribute to the overall ethos and aims of our school and promote diversity, inclusion, equality, and acceptance of learners.
  • Implement safeguarding policies and work with a range of people.
  • Understand needs of learner and promote independent learning.
  • Support social, emotional mental health wellbeing.
  • Work constructively and flexibility as part of a team.
  • Understand classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.

You will need to be at least 16 years old or over (current Y11 and above) at the start of your apprenticeship with us.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
