Are you a bright, innovative, proactive and experienced premises officer, confident in your ability to deliver effective site maintenance?

We are seeking to appoint a Premises Assistant to support the School Business Manager in the operation and maintenance of the school premises. 

Ark Little Ridge is a popular, two form entry primary school which was judged as 'OUTSTANDING' by OfSTED at its last inspection. This role is full time. The working pattern will be agreed with successful applicant.  The role will involve providing support to the Senior Leadership Team, staff, governors, pupils and parents. We can offer you a friendly, supportive school and opportunities for professional development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be confident, resilient and have previous building maintenance experience.
  • Have an understanding of and ability to apply relevant health & safety regulations.
  • Be a team player who can work collaboratively as well as using own initiative.
  • Have a professional outlook and be able to multi-task.
  • Have the ability to use a computer, including email and spreadsheets.
  • Have the physical ability to meet the demands of the role.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
