Do you want to work delivering outdoor experiences in East Sussex?

Buzz Active offer outdoor activities for the whole community, we engage with educational, local and overseas student groups. We deliver day and residential activities, from single visit sessions to activity days, ongoing development courses and overnight stays.

We are seeking passionate and energetic activity instructors to work with us on a casual basis over the summer.

Daily duties will include the setting up for and delivery of courses and sessions for the applicable qualifications held, maintenance and upkeep of the equipment, assistance with hire concessions and residential activities.  You will work across our three sites:

  • The Buzz Active Eastbourne team run RYA sailing, windsurfing, Wing surfing and wing foiling, powerboating schemes, and 'UK paddle' kayaking and SUP activities.
  • The Buzz Active Cuckmere team deliver kayak, open canoe, paddleboard, improvised rafting, Katakanu and XL SUP activities. Running lessons, rental and guided tours ideal for paddle sport leaders.
  • The Buzz Active Bushy Wood team operate a land-based activities for the local Scout and guide district and our own residential packages to schools and student groups from Bushy Wood Activity Centre.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
