  • flexible working practices supported by the latest technology.
  • access to expert advice and support  including reflective supervision and a complex risk forum.
  • evidence-based team learning, group reflective practice, online research tools.

You will have a varied caseload, providing social care for adults with a diagnosis of dementia and older adults over the age of seventy with a severe and enduring mental health illness. This includes being Lead Enquiry Officer in safeguarding concerns, conducting statutory assessments, commissioning support, developing support plans, and presenting your reports to quality assurance meetings.

You will collaborate with partner agencies, carers, and families to build networks of support that can help people maintain their independence. We must adapt and be creative, so there are plenty of opportunities to gain experience and innovate.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, forward-thinking Senior Resource Officer to join and help lead our friendly team. Working alongside practitioners who care as much about individual outcomes as you do, focusing on the strengths and resilience of the person ensuring they are in a safe space and with the specialist support in place, to ensure their social care needs are met.

We are keen to hear from Resource Officers with excellent knowledge of the Care Act assessment process, assessment of risk, the mental capacity act (2005), and knowledge of Safeguarding Adults process. Supervising other resource officers within the team will be part of the role.

Further training will be provided to the successful candidate.
