An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Adult Social Care - Administration Team for the role of Senior Business Administrator. We are part of a Local Authority dedicated to supporting vulnerable adults within East Sussex. Senior Business Administrators play a key role in supporting the Council - helping us provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. It is fast-paced and varied, with the training and support provided for you to succeed.

The successful candidate will work in our Adult Social Care department providing high level administrative support to management team, and practitioners including Social Workers / Resource Officers and Occupational Therapists.

You will need organisational skills, accurate minute taking skills, able to work under pressure, excellent customer care / communication and MS Office skills as well as the ability to manage conflicting priorities.

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective organisation and time management.
  • Strong Administration skills.
  • Strong minute taking skills.
  • Accuracy in recording information and a knowledge of working with client databases.
  • Team player.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
