Uckfield Local Area Transport Strategy
The Uckfield Local Area Transport Strategy (LATS) sets out the framework for transport investment in the town to 2011. A set of key objectives has been identified to enhance the vitality of the town as a place to shop and work, and as a business and service centre. We aim to:
- encourage greater transport choice
- improve the health of the local community
- improve sustainable travel choices for the whole community
- enable everyone to participate in the life of the town
- improve transport-related safety round the clock.
We developed the Uckfield (LATS) in partnership with Uckfield Town and Wealden District Councils.
