Transport plans for your area

Local Area Transport Strategies

Local Area Transport Strategies (LATS) are developed in partnership with district, borough, town and parish councils, to consider all the different types of transport needs of an area. Although not all parts of the county are covered by LATS, you can find details of what is proposed for the areas below.

LATS take into account key transport and communication links between communities. This includes walking, cycling, public transport, private car or freight. Our priority is to improve transport for pedestrians, people with reduced mobility, cyclists and users of public transport.
