Basic skills

Where do I start?

Basic skills help you get on in work and life in general. There are two types of courses you can do:

  • Skills for Life
Reading, writing, maths and working with computers
  • Key Skills
Working with others, problem solving and communications

Many courses are free and you can work at your own pace in a small group, day or evening. Some courses provide a creche.
